Meet the Team

Lewis
I’m the owner and managing director of Karleth Diving. Both an SSI and PADI instructor, TDI Technical Diver as well as a commercially endorsed boat captain. I have a passion for teaching and technical diving. My favourite Cornish marine life has to be the Cuttlefish [Padel Ynken] and Rays [Karleyth]. You will mostly see Lewis skippering our dive boat Kaleyth I or teaching some new divers.

Tara
Tara is an SSI and PADI Instructor, and is supposed to spend most of her time working on a Marine Biology PhD. She's been diving in the UK for over 10 years, though has a soft spot for warmer waters too! You'll most likely see Tara nerding out about a cool Jellyfish [Morgowlesen] or Ray [Karleyth] in her trusty red drysuit.

Kiah
Kiah is an SSI Divemaster, currently doing her undergrad in marine biology, with a strong passion for coral conservation and sharing her love for the ocean. Growing up in Tanzania, she is naturally acclimatised to the warm tropics but is growing fond of the cold Cornish waters. You will most likely hear Kiah yapping about whale sharks [Morvil Morvleydh]or looking for nudibranchs [Melhwesen vor]!
-
Rei
Rei is one of our Divemaster Trainees, currently studying Marine and Natural History Photography at Falmouth University. Born and raised in New York, she had limited access to going underwater, so she is now taking full advantage of the beautiful Cornish seas. She is just as passionate about photographing wildlife underwater as she is on land, and you may often find her scrambling in rockpools photographing Nudibranchs [Melhwesen vor].

Nicky
Nicky is a PADI Divemaster, currently studying Marine and Natural History Photography at Falmouth University. Since coming to Cornwall, Nicky has spent every moment in the water expanding his skill set, from dive lead to marine photographer. If Jellyfish [Morgowlesen] are around, you’ll probably spot him in the water, trying not to get stung while hanging out with his favourite sea creatures!
